August 15, 16 & 17 - 2008
The Big Time Out is a 3-day concert style event on 1 stage that appeals to the young and young at heart. With world-class musicians, like headliners De la Soul, Metric, Matisyahu and K'naan, descending on Cumberland the local population is expected to more than double. The festive vibe, created by circus performers, fire spinners and colorful dancers, is often in collaboration with edgy dj sets and visual projections. Expect the unexpected!
The entire lineup for this summers adventure is impressive. Earth shaking dance grooves come from hot acts like Five Alarm Funk, Shane Philip, Ganga Giri, Delhi 2 Dublin & Third Eye Tribe. Independent rocks latest overnight success story Daniel Wesley, kicks it out. Israeli rockers Moshav, homegrown talent bigredtruck, The CR Avery Band, Wil, You Say Party! We Say Die! and Small Sins all provide spectacular live shows.
