The result is an infatuating live show that blends elements of ska, jazz, rock, reggae, punk and dub into one; a formula that remains progressive to this day. They are a well-rounded, high energy dance band with a party in their back pocket.

The band’s horn and percussion-driven instrumental jams feature searing guitar leads and horn solos wailing and soaring above a four-man percussion maelstrom that is grounded by Neil Towers’ juicy bass lines. The band’s wicked cross-rhythms and frenetic, costumed stage show appeals to jazz fans and clubs kids alike.

Stirring together funk, jazz and elements of such dance-floor heroes as Brass Construction, Ohio Players, and Roger Troutman, the band has created an alchemical brew. Their sound both recalls the 70s and surpasses the era in a synthesis of retro and contemporary.

Seun began his musical career at nine years of age opening for his father with Egypt 80. Keeping his father's spirit alive Seun still performs with the same band, a power-house of explosive dance grooves, the hookiest basslines, big spectacle and politicised energy. Much of the magic of their live shows derives from the energetic exchange between at least 18 musicians and dancers. It’s a full-on, funk-happy sound that’ll take you to the edge and back.
